last Saturday, i went for this Real Undergraduate Conference 2009 or
better knwn as RUC' 09...
how was it? well, it was pretty much ok.
we had a series of talks by different people
topics covered were:
Malaysia Bebas Dadah 2015
Relationship by the Angkasawan Malaysia ke-2
(nope, not that handsome Dr. Sheikh, it's the other guy who went with him)
You & Your Money
Attitude
Teamwork
Leadership by Dr. Maznah Hamid
(i liked this session the most, it was so inspiring to hear of a kampung girl from Kedah who made her way up and now sits as the Executive Chairman of Securiforce - yes, those yellow trucks you sometimes see on the roads)
held at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC) - nice nice place.
it was a whole day thing. i woke up at 0530 and was out till almost 2000.
i thank God for very nice people who take the trouble to provide transport.
