love happens...

Adrienne Willis: I made that to keep special things safe.
Dr. Paul Flanner: What keeps you safe?

Nights in Rodanthe

it's a gorgeous, slow-paced movie that made u think about it more and more even after the credits roll.
it's a movie that showed u love, the kind of love that's not bounded by age and is possible at any time-and often comes when we least expect it!
the kind of love that every gal dreams of, but often settle for less,
more importantly the kind of love that catches u by surprise and leave u wanting, wishing, longing for more.

sometimes, that's all you get. a fleeting and doomed love story, but an epic one nonetheless.

Nights in Rodanthe definitely showed that love.

the storyline's simple,
an encounter between a 40-something housewive who's husband left her for a younger woman & a a surgeon and an obsessive workaholic who's life fell apart when his patient died on the table.
an encounter, a fling that sparked during what was depicted as a hurricane in one of the most humble-but-charmingly-breath-taking inns by the beach.
it was no ordinary encounter, it was one that changed both of them.
an encounter that resonates through both their lives forever, intertwining both past and future, dreams and loses, ultimately, an encounter that shows both of them... love.

the question is,
what keeps U safe?
